Question tags
Process of forming:
- we should imagine the question of the sentence,
- if the sentence is negative, question tag is positive and contrary,
- the subject of the sentence we write to the question tag (use pronoun),
- and to the question tag before pronoun we put auxiliary verb of the sentence.
You are happy, aren’t you?
She likes chocolate, doesn’t she?
They aren‘t at home, are they?
She is swimming now, isn‘t she?
They are not walking at the moment, are they?
She worked yesterday, didn‘t she?
They were happy, weren‘t they?
They were sleeping at 6 am, weren‘t they?
You have been to Croatia, haven‘t you?
They hadn‘t been walking home when they met them, had they?
She will help you, won‘t she?
