Difference between using suffix –ing and –ed

o       –ing: we use when we describe something  (an interesting book)

o       –ed: describes how we feel, it is coming from the inside (I´m interesed in….)

 

The film was very boring. We did not enjoy that at all.

He was bored. He did not enjoy it, he wanted to leave but was too polite to do it.

He was boring.  I could not listen to him for more than 5 minutes. I had to leave the room.

 

It was very interesting. I enjoyed the lecture.

I was very interested in it. It is something like my hobby.

 

It was amusing.

He was amused.
