Have something done
I have my nails done every month. (It means that I do not do it alone but I go to some salon and someone will do it for me.)
- this fraze is used to express the activity which we do/did not do personally but we hired or paid someone to do it for us.
HAVE SOMETHING DONE = the fraze which words are changeable
HAVE can be replaced with GET
SOMETHING can be replaced with the thing of activity (nails, hair, flat ....)
DONE can be replaced with whichever other verb which describes the activity (painted, written, done, cut ....)
I get my room painted. (someone does it for me)
I painted my room. (I do it myself)
I have had my hair cut. (someone has done it for me)
I will have my lawn cut. (I do it myself)
